Comfy but with a caveat

Got these shoes to try out the HOVR line. Because I wear custom orthotics, I picked the Sonic b/c they are the only ones in the HOVR line (per Under Armour customer service) with removable insoles. Unfortunately, the shoe's heel design is such that the orthotics don't fit properly and they place my heel too high at the back of the shoe. I have a set of low "running" orthotics and they are fine but customs won't work. Short version, if you can wear these as is, they're fine but if you are looking for something that you can use your orthotics, they are a no go.

very good daily runners

Great daily runner. I have owned quite a few UA shoes over the years, and this is my favorite - Fit is excellent. I ended going up half a size up from my usual 10 to a 10.5. Fits and feels better than any other shoe I've tried. 10/10 - Cushioning: another plus here. not as bouncy as boosts, no as firm as react. Somewhere in the middle. The shoes are light, at least to me, firm without being too firm while still comfortable. 8/10 - Sole: traction is quite good. not too narrow and is quite stable at the front. 10/10 - I know this is not usually recommended, but this shoe also makes a good trainer for the gym. Price is reasonable. All in all, a definite recommendation
