Q&A For Adidas Samba
What are Adidas Sambas for?
The Adidas Samba will be 70 years old in 2020, making it the longest-running adidas shoe ever. The original adidas Samba was created in the late 1940s, after the Dassler brothers divorced and Rudolph founded Puma. The first Samba, created in the late 1940s by adidas founder and namesake Adi Dassler, was designed to provide traction on frozen land.
Are Adidas Samba comfortable?
For longevity, the Adidas Samba Classic soccer cleat has a synthetic leather upper. It takes some time for the material to break in, but once it does, the upper becomes extremely smooth and comfortable. In a word, the shoe is super comfortable.
Are Adidas Samba true to size?
They fit perfectly. I love these shoes and will replace them as soon as they wear out. My first pair of Adidas Samba just received, and they look and sound fantastic. However, a few users have complained that the shoes are too small and narrow. As a result, it is usually recommended to order a half-size or even a full-size larger for a perfect match.
Are Adidas Samba good for walking?
The Adidas Samba's EVA midsole has a good amount of cushioning, which allows for stretching and forward thrust, making walking easier. With these midsoles, grip and control are not compromised - EVA midsoles are robust and ensure long-term use. If you want yo have a walk, the shoe is a good choose.
User Reviews Of Adidas Samba
An awesome fashion shoe !
I love the look of them on my 14 inch foot , the shoes look narrow on my foot and either look great with shorts or jeans which is a benefit for me ! Nice low profile so they look very good with jeans and a blazer or shorts and a polo shirt ! I picked the Classic sambas over the OG's because I like the high arch in the Cassic Samba's !
Great durability, classic looks, cheap. My favorite shoe.
Finally retiring them after 3 years of almost daily wear. They’ve been on hikes, many 6 mile walk/jog commutes to work, weight lifting, various other not gentle activities. Finally noticed today that I’ve worn through the sole and you can see through the heel to the insole. Goodbye, faithful, tough-as-hell friend. Just ordered another pair 5 minutes ago.
Indestructible! Size half a size down from what you usually wear
Love my Sambas! Sizing was perfect. I have problems with fit because of my slightly wide feet, so leather footwear is a must. I am a US 9 in most shoes. As you all know that not all shoes are created equal. The sizing is a bit off. My past pair was a US 9. They were perfect at first, I thought getting my usual size was good but turns out they stretched and the length was to big. I would go half a size down from your usual size. This time I got US 8.5 and the length is pefect, the width is a somewhat tight but not constciting at all. I know they will stretch after a few wears so they will fit perfect!
Comfy, but need breaking in if your feet are wide.
These have been my favorite shoes since I was a kid. I got a new pair every year up until college, then switched to other running shoes...but I decided to switch back to the classics, and man did I miss them. I have wide feet so they take some breaking in, but that's always been the case. Once they're loosened up they're the most comfortable shoes I own.
Great looking but uncomfortable after a few hours
Arch support is too high and is very uncomfortable. The first day I wore them it was noticeable but not uncomfortable, but the second day they were really uncomfortable after being on them for about 5 hours. I stand all day, so I was hoping for comfortable shoes. If you're not on your feet all day they might be fine.
